Movement is my nature. Ballet, at the age of five, was the first structured movement I learned.  For over two decades I dedicated to dance many hours of training, study, teaching, exploration, rehearsal, and performance.  When the time was right, I studied physical therapy and discovered my passion for science.  I graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 2004.

After my training in physical therapy, I explored several approaches to the body and chose the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education, which for me was at the intersection of dance and physical therapy, of art and science.  Once I graduated from my training program, I was invited to work at my school, the Feldenkrais Institute of NY, one of the largest centers dedicated to the work of Dr. Feldenkrais in the US.

After moving to Austin, I opened my clinic - Physical Therapy & Feldenkrais Austin – and expanded my practice to include my specialization in pelvic health. More recently, my practice has evolved into Mayoli, a space dedicated to movement where I can also draw on my experience with Pilates, yoga, and dance.

In an effort to reach out to my community, I have taught a series of workshops at the University of Texas: Pelvic Health and Awareness, Improve your Pelvic Health, The Body Pattern of Anxiety, and Feldenkrais for a Better Yoga Practice.
